Sweet Caroline is ONE! :)

I am in love with this little munchkin - with the whole family actually. :) They did a mini-session with me, and when we were done, Caroline's big sister called me "Aunt Mari". :) It made my day! I cannot believe this little princess is already one! I can remember her little newborn session last year, and it's so sweet to watch them grow over the year. She is a super happy little thing, and her sweet smile is so contagious. Mom and Dad, you guys are blessed beyond words. :) I have really enjoyed seeing Caroline over the past year, and I look forward to seeing her again soon. Enjoy the preview!

Happy 1st Birthday, Brody! :)

I LOVE this cutie pie redhead! :) I first met Brody in the summertime when he was 6 months old. He's the tiniest little thing and oh-so-cute! I can't believe he's already one and walking around - he's such a sweetie. His family just moved out to the country, and guess what is behind their house? Yep, a cotton field AND a wheat field!!!! If only it had been much warmer, I would have been in heaven! Please remind me not to take sweet babies outside in the cold for pictures unless it is 100%necessary - it makes for sad faces and cold hands. :( He was a trooper though, until the end. And I think it was because he knew what was waiting for him when we got done - a CUPCAKE! This little thing devoured it. I have never seen anything like it! When he had just about eaten the entire thing, he decided to roll around in it. I'm serious. It was messy but made for some super cute pictures!! Thanks so much, guys, for trusting me with these sweet memories of your son's 1st year. Enjoy the preview, and I hope to see you again real soon! :)

Happy 1st Birthday, Trent! :)

I cannot believe that all my "babies" from last year are already one!!! It's so crazy how fast time flies when it comes to life with a baby. I first met Trent when he was 3 months old, and it has been amazing to watch him grow up! He's such a big boy with a huge smile (and pout!) and a wonderful little personality. I fell in love with him instantly and was so excited to get to see him every few months. Now he's one and I may not get to see him again for 6 more months!! :( But I can wait - he's worth it. :) He wasn't the happiest to see me, but that's okay. And it was COLD outside! We did the outside shots as quickly as possible and took little breaks in the heated car. :) I've learned that babies don't like the cold weather and are usually not very cooperative for me this time of year - trust me, as I have several more posts to prove it! Still, Trent was a doll baby, and I love him for it. I'm so glad that he had a great birthday, and I'm so thankful to his mommy and daddy for trusting me with their memories of his 1st year. :) Enjoy the preview, and I can't wait to see your little man again!!!

P.S. A BIG thank you to Trent's Aunt Tracy for helping us out! :)

Dallas, TX Wedding, Family, Children Portrait Photographer

That's right. We are en route to Dallas, TX. I hated to leave Tennessee, but that's the way it's done around here, so let's do it. I'm excited about Dallas, and it's always tough marketing in a new town - like starting the business all over again! But it can be done and I'm ready to do it! I'm still available in the Auburn/Opelika area all throughout the year for weddings and regular portrait sessions, so don't hesitate to contact me! I already have quite a few weddings scheduled in Auburn/Opelika, and I will be scheduling regular portrait sessions when I'm in town for the weddings. I'll try to keep everyone posted on my return dates, but for now, if you know anyone in the Dallas area, please pass on my information to them! :)

Waiting on a Sweet Baby Girl......

These two are sooooo sweet and cute together! They are expecting a sweet little baby girl in February - if she makes it that long! :) Mom is about ready to pop, but her little baby bump is so cute! We had a blast! We did some inside shots and then braved the unusually chilly weather for some outdoor fun. These two really have a sweet connection - you can tell it in these shots for sure! Thank you guys for letting me capture this precious time in your lives. I know you are excited to meet that baby girl - keep me posted on her arrival!! And enjoy the preview!

Sweet Baby Avery....

Meet little Avery Elizabeth. She is a Christmas baby, almost anyway. :) She was born on December 14th. So sweet! I didn't get to see her until this weekend, and she's almost 3 weeks old already! She's part of my baby plan, so I'm excited that I get to see her 4 more times throughout the year. :) She is such a sweetie pie. Being that she's almost 3 weeks old, she didn't sleep quite as much as we wanted her to, but she did great. Mom and Dad, you are truly blessed with a sweet little angel. I'm so excited to be a part of her sweet little life, and I look forward to seeing her again in March!! :)
