Mallory + Russ = LOVE :)
Oh......my.....goodness. If you don't mind, I would like to toot my own horn for once! These images are AMAZING!!! I'm so completely in love with them that I seriously had to stop editing them so I could go on to another session!! :) The day was perfect for this sweet couple: the location, the weather, the bride's dress, the bridesmaids' dresses, the food, the cakes.......do I really need to continue or do you get the point!? It was truly amazing, and I am soooo happy that I got to be a part of it! I have to thank my second shooter Marie for all of her hard work and long hours - you are AWESOME!
Now, to the happy couple. As a bride myself, almost 5 years ago, I know the importance of having those fabulous wedding photos. I feel so sorry for my poor photographer because I know I stressed him out! :) Now, as a wedding photographer, I remember those feelings I had on my wedding day and put them to use in my performance. It's important to capture moments rather than just pictures. And with a couple like Mallory and Russ, it could not have been any easier to do! They were incredible! As I photographed them, I could just see how much they are in love with each other. Keep that love strong, guys, and enjoy these days you have together. It's a great feeling being a newlywed, and I hope my images of your special day will always help you remember how truly special it really was. I wish you guys all the love and laughter throughout the years, with more joy than you know how to handle. Enjoy the preview! :)

The Bennett Family :)
I just adore these guys! Remember them? They were the recipients of my free maternity session back in March, then baby Ella-Gracin was born the beginning of May. Now we are doing family shots! :) Ella-Gracin is already 3 months old. In the words of my uncle, "A kid is a ticket for time to fly"! I can't believe it! And she is just as beautiful as can be. The entire Bennett family is adorable, just look at how cute they are! I will miss you terribly when we move. I may even have to make special trips back to Tullahoma so I don't miss out on sweet Ella-Gracin growing up! :) Enjoy the preview, guys! There will be more to come!

Meredith Claire
Ahhh, I love seniors! They let me be as creative as I want to be because they are willing to do absolutely anything!! They smile when I tell them to, they don't when I tell them not to. They even jump into water fountains. It's amazing!! Now, don't get me wrong, photographing children is the best part of my job, but it's nice to have a semi-adult every once in a while!! :) Meredith, you are such a beautiful girl. Thank you for letting me be a part of your incredible senior year. I wish you the best of luck in the future whatever it may hold for you. Right now, focus on the present and embrace your friends and this time in your life because it's gone faster than you can imagine!! :) Enjoy your preview!!
P.S. Senior portraits are NEW to Mari Wilkes Photography! If you or someone you know may be interested in scheduling a creative senior portrait session, please contact me for more details! :)
